User attributes
On the Data screen, User attributes tab, we can define specific user attributes to monitor if they have any effect on the coding. This is especially important for the Agreements tab you can browse through on the report screen which shows which segments or characters overlap depending on different factors, such as the user’s attributes. More information on that feature you can find in the entry about the report screen.
In a project, we can specify any attributes and their values according to the project needs. For example, we may specify gender in a project where we expect gender to be relevant to coding, other times we may be interested in the coders' experience with migration or drugs if the data is from that area. The attribute should be named concisely and understandably. In the second field we enter the values that the attribute can take. Keep in mind that some users will not want to fill in a particular attribute or it will not match the offer and therefore there should be a value of "other" or "not provided". In the pie charts, we can see the distribution of attributes in the project's user file.
Each user fills in the attributes in their profile. This is opened by clicking on the icon next to their name on the top right. Below the list of permissions is the Edit button, which when clicked will bring up a window with the option to enter attributes.
Moreover, you can add user attributes by clicking on the + icon in the upper left corner. In the attribute values rubric don’t forget to separate your values with a comma! You can add the given attribute by clicking on the Add user attribute button.
Furthermore, you can delete attributes by clicking on the - icon and selecting the attribute you want to erase from the list.
