Assignment

Introduction

This feature allows you to add assignments for multiple policies, scripts apps and so on to a large number of groups with filters in an efficient way.

How to use

1. In the Settings page (gear icon), log in as the tenant you wish to assign content in
2. Open the Assignment page
3. List all content in your tenant
4. Select and remove the content you do not want to assign with the remove selected button
5. Add filter if you want
6. List all groups and highlight the groups you wish to assign content to (Only the highlighted groups will be included in the assignment)
7. Click Assign to groups. A confirmation will appear summarizing the assignments you are about to do.

Tips and tricks

Filter

Filters are platform specific, but can be added to the "wrong" platform. That means that a Windows filter can be assigned to a macOS policy, which makes no sense and will probably break the deployment. Make sure to only include filters when deploying to one platform.
