Spike to investigate how we could serve works information for mapping via WMS/WFS using a mapping server.
GeoServer is the OGS reference implementation for WFS and an extremely popular product for serving GeoSpacial data for mapping. It fully supports WFS and WFS-T and allows you to generate custom queries against a PostGIS database via SQL views and CQL.
