pip install qrcode

Usage

From the command line, use the installed qr script:

qr "Some text" > test.png

#Or in Python, use the make shortcut function: import qrcode img = qrcode.make('Some data here') type(img) # qrcode.image.pil.PilImage img.save("some_file.png")

Advanced Usage

For more control, use the QRCode class. For example:

import qrcode qr = qrcode.QRCode( version=1, error_correction=qrcode.constants.ERROR_CORRECT_L, box_size=10, border=4, ) qr.add_data('Some data') qr.make(fit=True)

img = qr.make_image(fill_color="black", back_color="white")
