fingR has undergone many improvements. The run.BMM function can now handle isotopic ratios as tracers, the generation of virtual mixture contributions has been enhanced to better cover the source contribution space (VM.contrib.generator), and the computation of virtual mixture properties has been optimized for increased speed (VM.builder). A novel statistic of modelling efficiency is introduced, the ESP for Encompassed Sample Prediction and cover the range of virtual mixture predicted contributions with the location of sample mixtures predicted contributions.
