This branch serves as a beginner's guide for reorganizing the SDF document. It adds two new sections to ease newcomers in starting to use S3DF:

  1. Getting Started
  2. Beginner's Guide

## Software

- The [software](software.md) available within S3DF plays a crucial role and encompasses a broad scope. Whenever feasible, S3DF prioritizes the use of pre-built, packaged software, such as RPMs from reputable repositories.

i don't think we have a policy at all atm. perhaps remove stuff about rpms for now

- S3DF encourages experts outside of the SCS to leverage Lmod for providing, supporting, maintaining, and sharing the software tools they develop.

Maybe this should be 'using compute resources' instead? stuff in k8s/Service are not really 'jobs'

- [Get Started](GettingStarted.md) - Information for new and existing S3DF users
- [Beginner's Guide](beginner-user.md) - Step by step guide for new users
- [Get Help](help.md) - How to get help

isn't this basically a duplicate of accounts-and-access.md - can we decide on one and clear the other please?

this doesn't appear too different in content from the README.md. is the intention to extend this with more details with infographics/flow charts etc.
