Build an interactive matrix chart of E-Commerce Cosmetics Sales using Flask and D3.js
A simple, fancy visualisation can have more impact than a very complex model, especially for a non-technical audience.
In this Article, I provide a recipe for designing advanced visualisations using D3.js, with no prior knowledge of JavaScript (or very little).
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Intermediate knowledge of Python, including Flask framework
- Find an example of visualisation you want to design
This repository code should be used as the second step of analysis to build the final dashboard of E-Commerce Sales
- Copy the GitHub repository to your local folder and create a local Python environment
- Download libraries listed in requirements.txt
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
- Launch app.py
py app.py
This is the final step of the article, where you build the whole pipeline of data processing and visualisation using Python, deploy using Flask and animate using D3.js
