User experience improvements

A number of changes have been made to improve the user experience.

Changelog:

• Fixed a bug that caused no results when re-searching for a previous query
• Improving the search user interface
• Fixed an issue where embed link elements would appear on top of the search field
• Added left padding for embedded links (to prevent the border from blending with the text)
