Welcome to version v1.0.1 of AutoSubFixer! 🥳

This is the one-stop cross-platform solution for gibbrish-replaced letters and other encoding problems that are common among users who download subtitles from 3rd-party sources.

Featuring a new easy-to-use installer for Windows, it couldn't be easier!

  1. Download the installer
  2. Install
  3. Right-click the subtitle file -> Send To -> AutoSubFixer (Overwrite)
  4. That's it.

Don't want to install it? No problem! Download AutoSubFixer-Portable.exe and drag-and-drop your text file to it. It will create a new file in the same folder ending with -encoded which is the processed one.

Fixed:

  • CLI not working, now it is fully functioning but shows a teminal window when executed in Windows (a tradeoff I'm willing to make)

Enjoy! 🎉
