Heatmapper

Software for recording, analyzing and visualizing data as three-dimensional heat maps.

Installation & Setup

1. Install all necessary dependencies: python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt.

2. Set the PYTHONPATH environment variable to the absolute location of the heatmapper root directory (The same directory as this README). This step ensures that all the modules are available to all other modules.

Components

• The Recording component deals with recording measurements from various instruments.
• The Stereo Mapping component provides a professional stereo imaging with extensive features.
• The Location Service component provides cheap and efficient implementation of stereo imaging that uses smartphones as cameras, as well as a web interface with visualization tools.
