- Visit the Releases Page: Click on this link to access the downloads: Download from Releases.
- Select the Latest Version: Look for the latest version in the list on the page.
- Download the Extension: Click on the appropriate file to download it.
- Install the Extension: After the download finishes, go to your Chrome browser. Drag the downloaded
.crxfile into the Extensions page (chrome://extensions) to install.
If you decide to uninstall this extension, all your folders and tasks will be removed instantly from your device due to Chrome's Local Storage.
Before uninstalling, always use the Export button within the extension. This creates a backup JSON file. You can then easily restore your data later.
This extension works by interacting with the NotebookLM website. If Google makes changes to their website, Notebook-Nest might stop functioning.

To avoid losing your data, regularly export your tasks. This can be done easily by following these steps:
- Open the Notebook-Nest interface.
- Click on the Export button.
- Save the JSON file on your local device.
This file can be re-imported if you need to reinstall or if you are switching devices.
