Without this fix, any project based on this build will crash when running the make command , the make command does a scaffold build.

Wasn't aware of this repo. You should use drupalwxt/site-wxt repo for projects using the scaffold. Although your change does look correct for the 10.3.x branch! |

actually the make command still crashes with this change, I might have to clear the make cache |
