git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/charlieporth1/neo-pixel-raspi-py

cd neo-pixel-raspi-py
cd rpi_ws281x
cd python
python ./setup.py install

or
sudo pip install rpi_ws281x or sudo pip3 install rpi_ws281x

sudo -E bash ./install.sh
