Broadlink Capture IR #549
-
|
Im trying to open a connection with a Broadlink RM4, and i cant open a connection...I went into the Hardware tab, then Global Caché to add the IP of the Broadlink, as well as the Girs tab, with no luck. Is it possible to use an RM4 to capture IR codes using this app? Thanks! |

Short answer: No, not supported. Somewhat longer answer: I own both a RM4mini and a RMpro. I spent several days a few months ago trying to use https://github.com/printingin3d/broadlink-java-api for Broadlink; I was rather close, but it seemed to work much too sporadic. so I gave up. If you want to take it up, it is the broadlink branch of HarcHardware. In the meantime, you may be able to capture to a text file using the Python-Broadlink library and import that file in IrScrutinizer. |
