These are the tools and practices currently used by the development team in SitecoreFoundation:
Required
- Sitecore XP 8.2 rev. 170614 (update 4)
- Development: Visual Studio 2015 and .NET 4.6 (Search extensions and install)
- Extension: Web Compiler
- Extension: EditorConfig
- Package management:

Sitecore Data Exchange Framework - Prereq 1.4
- For DB Tenant Testing: Contoso Retail DW
- Build scripts: Gulp
- Item serialisation: Unicorn
- Windows PowerShell 4.0 + (Requirement to Synch Unicorn via Gulp Task)
Optional
- Sitecore tools:
- Sitecore Instance Manager
- Sitecore Rocks (optional) currently.
- For DXF Tenant Testing: Contoso Retail Data Warehouse (Note that you'll need to add a user ID/Update the Endpoint configuration for testing)
