Description

While Asset Import supports, for Assets ingestion, specifying additional metadata attributes in the input csv and pushes them as such to the backend, the same option is currently unavailable for the Tags ingestion module. This enhancement adds the same option for the Tag ingestion flow as well. Users can specify additional attributes and the ones relevant for SourceTag asset-type (including inherited attributes) will be pushed as part of the ingestion.

Testing

Build a custom snapshot from the branch - 6.3.1-SNAPSHOT-tag-importer-addl-attributes. Verified on partner-apps.atlan.com with a customized asset-import package linked to this image. Run URL - here.
