I am a Research Assistant at Adam Mickiewicz University in the Laboratory of Aerobiology, and an aspiring backend developer with a diverse technical background. My degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering provided a foundation in programming and problem-solving, and with environmental protection masters which I've since applied to my research work in data analysis.
For almost four years in the aerobiology lab, I've been responsible for the full research lifecycle. I collect biological samples, perform laboratory experiments (including protein analysis and ELISA), and conduct statistical analysis using R and Excel. I transform complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and presentations using R and Python. Effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences through seminars, webinars, and scientific conferences.
Parallel with my research, in my freetime i've been independently learning backend development, with a focus on Elixir and the Phoenix framework, including LiveView for building real-time applications. I'm also gaining experience with PostgreSQL database operations and developing APIs with Phoenix. I am comfortable learning new impacful technologies and am genuinely interested in building reliable, well-designed systems. Based in Poland, I am open to remote, hybrid, in office opportunities.
