Takumi (735): Minimalist Constructed Language

Title Takumi (735)
Designer Armotus
Classification Minimalist Constructed Language
Current Version 0.0.1

Description: Design Principles of Takumi (735)

Takumi (735) is a minimalist constructed language (Conlang) defined by the following design architecture:

1. Linguistic Foundation

  • Minimal Phonology (6 Phonemes): The sound inventory is restricted to only 6 phonemes for maximum accessibility: 3 consonants (k, m, p) and 3 vowels (a, i, u).
  • Extreme Lexicon (9 Monosyllables): The core vocabulary consists of exactly 9 monosyllabic roots.
  • Core Phonotactics: These 9 roots are generated from a strict CV (Consonant-Vowel) structure: ka, ki, ku, ma, mi, mu, ta, ti, tu.
  • Fundamental Pronouns: Three of the nine roots serve as essential singular pronouns: mi (I), ku (you), and ta (he/she/it).

2. Computational and Numerical Coherence

  • Base Numerical Indexing: Each of the 9 monosyllables is numerically indexed from 1 to 9, following its alphabetical order.
  • Unique Text Encoding: The language operates as a coding system: any text in Takumi is represented as a single natural number. Punctuation and formatting (space, dot, newline, double newline, comma, colon) are encoded by the continuous count of the digit 0 (zero).
  • Encoded Identity: The project number, 735, is a direct, programmatic reading of the name: ta=7, ku=3, mi=5.

3. Etymology and Status

  • Linguistic Metadata: The name Takumi (derived from ta-ku-mi) encapsulates its core purpose: communication, community, and interaction.
  • Project Status: Currently in development, distributed under the MIT License.
