I'm a Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, driven by a passion for machine learning, entrepreneurship, and building technology that solves real-world challenges. I’ve worked across research, industry, and entrepreneurship—gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge ML systems, open-source contributions, and products that make an impact.
Previously, I have...
- Interned at Transformer Lab as a Machine Learning Engineer, shipping 72+ open-source features and launching 12+ pre-built “Recipes” that simplify fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment of open-source LLMs.
- Conducted computer science research with St. Michael’s Hospital, implementing supervised ML algorithms (SVM, KNN, Bayesian Classifier, Logistic Regression) to accelerate the pipeline from medical studies to improved patient care.
- Interned at Quantiphi as a Machine Learning Engineer, building advanced computer vision models to improve concussion safety for the NFL and deploying ML pipelines to analyze COVID-19 genomic data and predict harmful variants.
- Founded Circulate, a registered not-for-profit tackling India’s 2.3M-unit blood shortage by developing an AI-driven optimization algorithm. Partnered with dozens of blood banks and hospitals across India, and featured in Canada’s National Observer.
- Presented at World Summit AI and Collision Conference, sharing how I use AI for public health innovation.
- Built projects ranging from:
- VirtuOSo: An autonomous piano-playing robot using computer vision + MIDI conversion
- Hitch: A quadcopter drone with autonomous landing on moving vehicles
- Sips Don’t Lie: A smart water bottle that roasts you if you don’t drink enough water
- mPath: An AI triage app to route patients efficiently and reduce ER wait times
- Neural networks, health dashboards, and CNNs for medical imaging
I’m always excited to connect with fellow builders, researchers, and changemakers. Let’s collaborate: [email protected]
