I think that application/json should require further validation, like application/xml does
As of version 1.1 of the specification (published August 2020): Clients that parse HTML to discover feeds should prefer the `application/feed+json` MIME type, while still falling back to accepting `application/json` too. https://www.jsonfeed.org/2020/08/07/json-feed-version.html
