FlowSense.ai is an intelligent traffic management system that uses YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once) deep learning model for real-time vehicle detection and adaptive signal timing. The system analyzes traffic density at a 4-way junction and dynamically adjusts signal timings to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion.
Traditional traffic signals operate on fixed timing cycles, leading to:

The project includes a script to generate synthetic traffic videos:

Run Training: Execute all cells in the notebook. Training takes 2-6 hours depending on:
