FLS Flora Status: Ver 1.35.01 ✅
Download. Copy contents within "FLS-Flora-game" to game files and overwrite. Run the install-FLS.bat/ps1 script. Play!
FLS Flora ("False Flora") is a modpack for Under Night In-Birth II. It's a group effort that shows off the game in a coat of paint - not including adding to the cast of existing characters, music, and stages!
This modpack includes:
- Custom characters - some ported, some by-hand, and hand-drawn!
- Functional in-game Command List and future Missions
- A new look to some of the UI and menus - ported UNI1 Vs screen!
- Lots of added BGMs to tune in to
- Ported Type Lumina stages with nighttime edits
- Network play with users of the same mod (and network-safe for everyone else)
- Hitbox viewer
- The most relaxed support community around

- Ingrid (Capcom)
- Edmond Dantes (MBTL)
- Ako (DFCI)
- FLS Ryu (a.k.a. Evil Ryu)

To download and try out the mod in its current state, clone the repo or click here to download the pack. Navigate to your game's installation folder and unpack the contents of FLS-Flora-game in there (overwrite), so your folder should end up looking a bit like this:
Next, double-click install-FLS.bat (or run the ps1 file if you know how) to quickly patch the game. Skipping this step will still let you play the modpack, but there will be issues with the UI and stages.
At the moment, due to how the game loads files, you must also
- Have the Game Language be set to English
- Ensure your Steam language is also set to English
Launch the game and you should be good to go!
When you want to uninstall, clean up the extra folders from the repo and use Steam's "Verify Integrity" feature to get the game back to normal.
This mod is a joint effort among those who spent the time learning the intricacies of the game engine. If you have ideas, want to learn how to add content, or just have a few small contributions such as palettes, you are free to make a pull request or join the discussion on Discord.

Q: Can I play with strangers?
You can play on the modpack with friends and strangers alike, as long as you don't play as custom characters or on modded stages (as in, those without the modpack). You can still play online matches, and the worst that will happen is the game crashing.
Q: How does updating work?
You ought to do a fresh install of FLS Flora by using Steam's feature mentioned above and removing the modded directories just in case (check the repo layout above for what to remove if needed).
Q: My game is crashing...
If it crashes when launching, please try again. A new visual change may have caused issues and we're still testing. If it's confirmed to be annoying and breaking the experience, we'll roll back the change if it gets bad. It usually launches after the second attempt. For all other strange issues, please let us know.
Q: Can you put my OC in?
Maybe.
As stated, playing online with modded installations has been tried and tested - even since the late UNI1 days. There should not be any risk of bans from playing FLS Flora unless you're actively using memory-modifying cheats. That said, we don't have the power to see the future or know whether certain online interactions could be a cause for concern. Please, avoid uploading in-game data that's related to the new characters to stay safe.
