I’m a PhD in Photonics from the Instituto de Investigación en Comunicación Óptica, UASLP, with a strong background in Solid State Physics and Condensed Matter Physics. My research focuses on:
- 🧠 First-principles simulations (DFT, GW, BSE)
- ⚛️ Many-Body Perturbation Theory
- 🌈 Optical and magnetic properties of nanostructured materials
- 🖥️ Computational materials science and scientific computing
I combine experimental knowledge with advanced numerical methods to explore the quantum behavior of low-dimensional semiconductor systems.
- ✳️ Many-body calculations to explore exciton dynamics and light–matter interaction in 2D materials
- 🔬 Designing workflows to study band structures, optical absorption, and magneto-optical effects
- 📈 Running large-scale simulations on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters (Laboratorio Nacional de Supercómputo del Sureste de México)
