Hello there! 👋

Obi-Wan Kenobi saying Hello there

I'm a recent NYU grad with a Master’s in Computer Science. I'm passionate about building things that are smart, scalable, and genuinely useful, with a special focus on the intersection of Backend Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. I thrive on both architecting complex systems from scratch and training models to unlock new insights.

What I'm Working On

  • Building Really cool AI stuff @ Chess.com: Leading and involved in development of exciting projects and architecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to involving a massive database of 150+ billion chess games.
  • Teaching Assistance @ NYU: Former Teaching Assistant for courses on Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Business Analytics.
  • Cloud Exploration: Constantly tinkering with AWS to build scalable, robust applications and deploy them efficiently.

Some of the tech I have worked with:

Languages

Python Java C++ SQL JavaScript

AI/ML & Data

PyTorch TensorFlow LangChain Scikit-Learn Spark Kafka BigQuery

Frameworks & Technologies

Django Spring AWS

Developer Tools

Git Docker Jenkins Gradle Jira

A Few Things I've Built

  • VigilEye: Real-time surveillance alert system using Apache Spark & Kafka for live video threat detection.
  • Collaborative Code Editor: A Google Docs-style real-time code editor leveraging CRDTs and WebSockets for seamless multi-user collaboration.
  • AI for Medical Imaging: Trained CNN models (ResNet, etc.) to classify diseases from 112,000+ chest X-ray images.
