Important
This application is currently unusable. The NASA API that this project requires to function is now archived as the original maintainer (Corin DaRosa) has moved on from the project. I wish them well in their future projects, and thank them for the 10 years that they hosted the API for.
Until such time that I can reverse engineer the API, or figure out how Ruby works enough to get it running again, this project will simply not work. I am working to figure out a solution to the problem! If any of you wish to take on the task of getting the API running again, please do! The repository is accessible Here. If you are playing around with getting the API up and running, please do get in touch with me at [email protected] as I would love to get the app running again!
Thank you.
View and save the images taken by NASA Mars Rovers. Just select your rover your camera and your solar day (sol).
Coming soon. Here're some of the project's best features:
- You can select multiple mars rovers to view
- You can select any camera on any rover
- If there are multiple images for the sol that you choose you can have the app automatically loop through the images for easy viewing
- Save images
- Save request output
Coming in the near future.
Technologies used in the project:
- Visual Basic (.NET Framework)
If you like my work and would like to support me I am flattered. However I don't accept donations - because... reasons? I suppose!. IF you really want to give some money as appreciation for my work please consider donating to Autism Rocks Fife (Charity Number: SC 045130 (SCIO)). They have helped me to become the person I am today and I will be forever grateful of the work that they do.
