Hosting third-party resources for MontageSubs for stable hosting and reduced external requests.

Repository layout

• icons/<provider>/ — provider-specific icons and favicons
• posters/ — low-resolution poster placeholders (if any)
• badges/ — small badges and status images
• COPYRIGHT.md — rights and takedown policy

Usage

• Link assets via GitHub Pages or raw URLs, e.g.:
  • https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MontageSubs/external-assets/main/icons/<provider>/<filename>

Guidelines

• Only small-scale display assets are hosted here (icons, thumbnails, placeholders). Large copyrighted posters or high-resolution artwork are not hosted.
• Prefer free or licensed alternatives when available.
• Reduce resolution and scope when non-free content is necessary.
• Document inclusion reasons alongside files where applicable.

Contributing

• To add or update an asset, open a pull request with:
  • source/origin note (URL or reference)
  • intended use (where used in project)
  • any license/attribution info
• Maintainers will review for necessity and appropriateness.
