A lightweight macOS application that wraps the official NumWorks Web Calculator into a native .app, providing a smooth,MacOS integrated experience.
The app also includes a settings panel where you can customize its behavior
(see Info & Usage Notes below).
- macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later

Go to the latest release:

Download the
.zipfile from the release page. -
Unzip it and try to open the app.
You will see a security warning because the app is not signed with a paid Apple Developer ID:

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, then click Open Anyway:

(Optional but recommended) Move the app to your Applications folder.
The app is now ready to use.
- Updates are handled inside the app
- For auto-updates to work properly, the app must be located in the Applications folder
- An internet connection is required at least once on first launch to load the calculator
(offline support is planned) - Once loaded, the calculator remains available until you shut down your Mac
You can open the settings panel in two ways:
- Right-click the menu bar icon
- From the macOS menu bar: NumWorksApp → Settings
