NUMWORKS WEB VIEW APP FOR MAC

A lightweight macOS application that wraps the official NumWorks Web Calculator into a native .app, providing a smooth,MacOS integrated experience.

Installation

Requirements

• macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later

Steps

1. Go to the latest release:
   https://github.com/EllandeVED/NumWorks-App-For-Mac/releases/latest

2. Download the .zip file from the release page.

3. Unzip it and try to open the app.
   You will see a security warning because the app is not signed with a paid Apple Developer ID:

   

4. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, then click Open Anyway:

   

5. (Optional but recommended) Move the app to your Applications folder.

The app is now ready to use.

Updates

• Updates are handled inside the app
• For auto-updates to work properly, the app must be located in the Applications folder

Info & Usage Notes

• An internet connection is required at least once on first launch to load the calculator
  (offline support is planned)
• Once loaded, the calculator remains available until you shut down your Mac

Accessing the Settings

You can open the settings panel in two ways:

1. Right-click the menu bar icon
2. From the macOS menu bar: NumWorksApp → Settings
