Colors

Threshold comes with multiple different accent colors. To change from the default "Cobalt", follow these steps:

  • Open Steam/skins/Threshold/config.ini in your choice of text editor (notepad, word, etc.)
  • In the "Accent Color" section, remove the slashes in front of (uncomment) the color of your choice, and add them back to the choice you don't want. All colors but your choice should have slashes.
  • Save the file and Restart Steam.

Titlebars

Like Windows 10, the titlebars can be changed to compliment the accent color. To change to accent colored titlebars:

  • Open Steam/skins/Threshold/config.ini in your choice of text editor (notepad, word, etc.)
  • In the "Titlebar Color" section, add two forward slashes (comment) to the "include" line.
  • Save the file and Restart Steam.

Windows Outlines

By default, the skin does not add outlines to open windows. Outlines can be added by:

  • Open Steam/skins/Threshold/config.ini in your choice of text editor (notepad, word, etc.)
  • In the "Window Outlines" section, add two forward slashes (comment) to the "include" line.
  • Save the file and Restart Steam.

Avatar Shape

The circular avatar icons can be reverted back to the stock square shape by:

  • Copy the contents of Steam/skins/Threshold/Customization/_Misc/Avatar Shape/Square to Steam/skins/Threshold.
  • Select "Replace Files" when prompted.
  • Restart Steam.

To change back to the circle avatars, follow the same instructions but copy the contents of Steam/skins/Threshold/Customization/_Misc/Avatar Shape/Circle instead.

Sidebar Size*

The sidebar can be resized to be smaller and only contain icons. To make this change:

  • Copy the contents of Steam/skins/Threshold/Customization/Collapsed Sidebar to Steam/skins/Threshold.
  • Select "Replace Files" when prompted.
  • Restart Steam.

"Add Games" Button*

The button to add non-steam games or to redeem game keys is hidden by default. To bring it back:

  • Copy the contents of Steam/skins/Threshold/Customization/Add Games Button to Steam/skins/Threshold.
  • Select "Replace Files" when prompted.
  • Restart Steam.

No Downloads Button*

The button for :

  • Copy the contents of Steam/skins/Threshold/Customization/No Downloads Button to Steam/skins/Threshold.
  • Select "Replace Files" when prompted.
  • Restart Steam.

Switch Bottom Bar*

You can switch the order of items on the bottom bar based on preference:

*- All the marked options have additional folders for combinations of options. To use multiple options at once, choose the correct folder and follow the instructions for any of the individual options
