Hi there, I'm Jean Cardoso! 👋

I am a Civil Engineer and Master's Student in Energy and Nuclear Technologies at UFPE, focused on Digital Rock Physics and Machine Learning applied to reservoir characterization.

🔭 Current Research:

  • Determination and Optimization of Porosity and Permeability in Reservoir Rocks using ML.
  • Advanced characterization of porous media using Micro-CT images.
  • Member of the National Observatory for Water and Carbon Dynamics in the Caatinga Biome (ONDACBC).

🛠 Tech Stack & Tools:

  • Languages: Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow 2.0), SQL.
  • Simulation & Physics: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), ANSYS-CFX, Hydrus 1D, SWMM.
  • Porous Media Analysis: PoreSpy, OpenPNM, ImageJ/Fiji.
  • Geospatial: Google Earth Engine (GEE), QGIS.
