📱 Features
- The app fully embraces FA's Display Names update: Notes tab, Notes, User pages, shouts and comments now show both the Display Name and the user's static name, to better let you know who you're actually interacting with
- The app now allows sending notes, either from the revamped Notes tab, when viewing a Note or from a user's page
- The Notes tab now allows switching between your Inbox or Sent notes
- The Notes tab gets a new filter control to only display unread notes
- The toolbar is widely revisited with many more actions available from the top right icon:
- most pages now have a Share Link action
- submission pages also get a Favorite, Save Image, Share Image and Reply actions
- user pages get a Watch and Send a Note actions
- notes get a Reply action
- Notes tab gets Inbox, Sent and Send a Note actions

- User page design is slightly revisited
- Tapping a user icon in the Notes tab now opens the user's page
- Error reporting has been improved: if posting a comment or sending a note fails, an alert gives a more useful error description

- Around 17th June 2025, furaffinity.net website was updated and removed the Gender information on submissions. This prevented submissions from displaying in the app and has now been resolved (issue #16).

📱 Features
- Support for user gallery folders: a new folder icon is displayed in the toolbar when navigating to any user gallery or folder. It provides a menu to navigate to any other folder of this user’s gallery, including to their Scraps.
- When tapping on a shout or comment notification, in addition to opening the relevant page, the app will now scroll and highlight the relevant comment.
- Submissions in the Submissions tab can now be removed one by one through a swipe action (issue #11).
- Submissions display a new metadata control. It allows viewing all the submission metadata, such as image resolution, rating, category, view count, keywords and the folders to which this submission belongs. The folder items are interactive and can be used to navigate to the chosen folder.
🐞 Bugfixes
- On 3rd March 2025, furaffinity.net website was updated in order to support the new display name feature. This affected many parts of the app with missing information or the inability to load user profiles or notes, or missing notifications. This has been resolved (issue #12).
- The app includes an auto-refresh feature for the Submissions feed, Notes and Notifications tab, when you open the app again and after some delay. This behavior was not working for the Notes and Notifications tab if the tab had never been opened since the app was launched. This is now resolved.

- Improved submission fullscreen view: you can now use a single tap to display a submission zoomed in and in fullscreen. Then tap one more time to change again the zoom level.
- The Notifications tab now displays a badge when you have notifications. By default, all supported types of notifications are taken into account, except journal notifications. You can change this behavior in the Settings tab.
- Scrolling through a user's gallery, scraps or favorites now automatically loads the next page when needed. This effectively makes scrolling infinite as long as more content is available.
- User's gallery, scraps and favorites now have a search field at the top. Combined with infinite loading, this effectively allows searching through a full gallery, scraps or favorites of any user. Search is case insensitive and done on the submissions title and author.
📦 Miscellaneous
- Submissions and journals where comments have been disabled is now reflected in the app: the comment icon has a different color and tapping it will inform that posting a comment is not possible.

- Submissions featuring animated GIFs are now displayed animated. Downloading also preserves the animation
- Avatars using an animated GIF are now displayed animated by default. A setting was added in case you prefer to disable avatar animations
- Avatars and submission thumbnails are now loaded in advance, so you'll mostly not see them loading anymore
- Scrolling through galleries and the submissions feed has again been made much smoother
- User profiles now give access to the user's journals
- In addition to swiping to the left, replying to comments is now also available through long press
- Touching avatars in notifications now opens the corresponding user profile

- Fixed a rare case where the submission zoomable sheet could be opened before the full submission is actually loaded
- Fixed a rare crash that could happen when deleting notifications one by one

⚠️ iOS 16 support has been removed, iOS 17.4 or later is now required- The top right action button in Notifications tab doesn't display the Nuke action anymore for types of notifications whose section is already empty
- Logging out will now forget what was the last viewed submission. Logging in to the same or a different account will then display the latest submissions instead of going back to this last viewed submission
- A new item in the Settings tab allows deleting cached files
- Haptic feedback has been added when a download is successful, a submission is marked as favorite, a comment has been successfully submitted or when you watch a user
- When Notifications and Notes tabs are empty, they can now be pulled to refresh
