Getting duplicated entries when looking for checkboxes

Hey Everyone

I need to parse a markdown file and look for the status of its checkboxes. I wrote this

but when I run it I get each entry twice

Is this expected? do you have suggestions on how to solve it or should I address the problem differently?

You need to take into account whether you are 'entering' the node or not. Something like:
if !entering { return ast.WalkContinue, nil }

At the top of your walk function should work to remove the duplicates.
