Openmct has usefull feature. It is one main timeline for all graphs.

Is such behavior possible in Yamcs Studio?

Not right now. The displays only listen to newly incoming data. To combine this with archived data, would certainly be a nice feature but it's significant work, which we're unlikely to find time for, unless one of our customers would prioritize it.
