How to insert an asymmetric STL file

hello everyone, I'm a new xcompact3d learner. I wish to realise the flow around an irregularly shaped pier. We intend to modify the sphere test case. I have created an STL file myself, but when inserting it into the mesh for testing, we cannot control the orientation of the STL file and it appears impossible to alter its direction using rotation commands.Below is what we wish to achieve: model flow around the object and actual simulation.



How should I adjust the .py file, or what should I bear in mind when plotting the STL file?
