Dear incompact3d developers, I have a small question to consult you. For the LES result of turbulent channel flow, I can calculate the utau by using streamwise velocity profile. Actually, the streamwise velocity u is scaled with the centerline velocity in procedure. The utau in LES sometimes has some discrepancy with the DNS result. When we need to plot the uplus-yplus or the urms-yplus, the y/H and the u should be scaled with the utau in LES or utau in DNS? I look forward to your reply, thanks! |

Hello, For a given simulation, there are various ways to estimate the friction at the wall :
