Hi, I am new to xcompact3d. So, in this https://xcompact3d.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pages/user_guide/parameters.html, it is said that 8 - Turbulent Jet (work in progress, currently unsupported); But, can I still use xcompact3d for turbulent jet simulation by using 0 - User Custom Configuration? |

yes of course, you just need to set up appropriate initial conditions and boundary conditions. |

There is no tutorial for that, but it is really not complicated, you just need to prescribe an incoming velocity profile in the inflow subroutine (via a function or via a file).
