Browser connect to MFD components

With most off the Webbased component its possible to access the panel through a URL. This is great for testing and error trapping off site. A few considerations:

• For the panels to work it's needed to activate IIS (Internet Information Services) through Programs and Features - options Turn Windows features on or off. At menu Application Development Features ASP.NET components must be activated.

• For several component the Device Registration Service must be installed and running. The adres must be set to ::1 for the URL to work.

He Brendon, great that you konw how to enter other mfd's through the browser. By any change you could past them in this threat? I think Nick didn't find the time yet to create a seperate repro for this. Thanks and great your are willing to share this info. He Brandan, Question do you perhaps have a solution for the devices not accessable by browser, like a java or .net client you can run on a pc to simulate a device? Paul, unfortunately manufacturers have held their emulation tools close to themselves and have not made these publicly available.
