[Bug] Zooming in controlled Map is jumping

Description

It looks that sometimes when I want to zoom in, it performs zoom out first.
I noticed that in the Side by Side example.

It behaves the same way with just one map when it's in "control" mode. You can test it here https://mapmatrix.veloplanner.com/ You can select just one panel and you will notice the behaviour.

Steps to Reproduce

Open https://visgl.github.io/react-maplibre/examples/side-by-side and zoom in then zoom out.

Environment

• Map library: maplibre-gl@4.7.1
• Browser: Chrome and Firefox
• OS: Mac Sonoma 14.3.1
