is there any way to see the traffic sources only for that specified time periods?

I can see there's some interest in this feature but I don't have time to work on it at the moment, as I have a heavy workload and I'm changing jobs next week. If, however, someone wants to have a go themselves and submit a PR, you're more than welcome. :)
