it bricked my explorer.exe on my win11 pc

• I have confirmed that this issue does not happen when ExplorerPatcher is not installed
• I do not have "register as shell extension" enabled
• I have tried my best to check existing issues

Describe the bug

my pc cannot start explorer

Expected outcome

I expected it to not break my explorer

Actual outcome

explorer.exe (desktop) cannot launch

You are to add the exceptions to windows defender before you install EP: https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/releases

If you are using a third party antivirus, you must add those exceptions to it instead before you install EP.

The EP version 67.1 is really old and is not compatible for windows 11 24h2 x64.

EP is not recommended to be installed on work computers as it requires administrative access for installing, updating, and for adding the exceptions needed for windows defender or the third party antivirus you have installed.

Probably Revert8Plus and the windhawk mods it uses are the ones that are causing the crashes

Windows 11 24H2+ is not recommended if you are trying to make your OS look like an old version (in this case Windows 7) due to the extreme changes and legacy code removal Microsoft is doing in 24H2+
