Toolbar overflow menu no longer displays icons #4600

Before reporting your issue

  • I have confirmed that this issue does not happen when ExplorerPatcher is not installed
  • I do not have "register as shell extension" enabled
  • I have tried my best to check existing issues

Repro ExplorerPatcher versions

ExplorerPatcher 68.2

Repro Windows Versions

Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.6584

3rd party tweak software installed

Describe the bug

  1. Create a new tool bar -> select folder with 3 or more shortcuts
  2. Create a second tool bar -> any folder with icons | can be empty
  3. Position the second tool bar so that it collapses the first tool bar presenting the overflow arrow icon
  4. Click the arrow icon

Expected outcome

Expected Behaviour

  • overflow menu should display all icons in selected toolbar folder that are not visible on the taskbar already

Actual outcome

Result:

  • overflow menu is empty/broken
