NTFS Partitions: failed to allocate space!

I receive the following error when using shake on NTFS partitions:
`failed to allocate space! file has been saved at shakeLxKBqT: Operation not supported`

I thought NTFS supported fallocate(), but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Am I missing anything?
