Character Encoding on Loading Data #5
Description
On non-windows systems the default character encoding will not match the shapefiles. Shapefiles are typically CP1252 Windows Latin 1. Users need to make sure this is selected in the import dialog.
Mac and Linux users will likely have the wrong Charset by default.
