Describe the motivation
Waterfox has been getting more attention recently, providing a more unobtrusive, privacy-friendly, yet still approachable user experience compared to upstream Firefox (atleast, in my opinion).
Although an official Flatpak version of Waterfox exists, some people (atleastm just me) prefer native packages for browsers when possible for better integration with other installed apps such as KeePassXC or KDE's Plasma Browser Integration.
Additional context
Waterfox currently maintains official Linux tarballs and a Flatpak package.
