That is an issue that was recently discovered/fixed within the last few days, you likely need to re-install from GitHub (try uninstalling/removing cfbfastR first, to be safe), then restart your session and re-install from GitHub using the following:

  install.packages('remotes', repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org")
}
remotes::install_github("sportsdataverse/cfbfastR")

Then try your query again, I am reporting no issue with the most up-to-date v2.0.0 package (there have been more recent commits but no version change, likely causing confusion, apologies)

Was getting the same error. Reinstalled and it loaded the data correctly. LGTM
