Request for Updates on the Repository

The robfig/cron repository has not seen any updates in over five years. Given the importance of ongoing maintenance for addressing bug fixes, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility with new versions of Go, it would be beneficial to have updates or at least a status check on the future of this project.

Could the maintainers provide any insights on the current status and plans for future updates?

@robfig if you are no longer planning on maintaining this repository - could you put out an "ask for new maintainers"? This project has 13K stars, i.e. clearly relied upon by many!
