Antscope2 1.4.4 will not scan Rigexpert 500

Program seems to load ok, everything else is good but try to do a single or continuous scan, all I get is a RED DOT in the upper left corner. I have attempted to reload, set different parameters, but the problem persists. Antscope2 sees the "500" and shows as attached, in screen.
