Examples shouldn't assume they always run the viewer

Right now the examples always append `--save <path>.rrd` to make sure that things log to the viewer instead of launching it. However, as the OSS server continues to push examples this argument doesn't make sense.

Mostly filling this quickly so I can add `script_add_args` for arguments that don't make sense in context but will unblock current PR.
