Enable IPv6 on the USB interface?

Since I am regularly working to understand IPv6, I'm interested in knowing if there's a reason IPv6 is disabled instead of either auto or link-local

My understanding of windows name resolution is that the mdns name resolution of the hostname.local format works most quickly over ipv6.
