Feature Request - Receive notification to refresh calendar

I'm working on an extension to MMM-CalendarExt3 that allows you to add events to a google calendar. What I'm hoping to do is have my module send a notification to MMM-GoogleCalendar asking it to refresh after an event was added. I'm looking to have the newly added event display very soon after my add event modal is closed rather than waiting for the full refresh window.

I'm by no means an accomplished coder and have only been playing with MM for a week or so, so still getting used to the notification mechanisms. Most of my code so far has been OpenAI that I've been tweaking to get something banged out quicker than I could do myself.
