Double battles not working at all?

On the android app, anytime I try doing a double battle, which I prefer because im getting ready for vgc, the app just freezes up and time stalls out until I lose.

Yea,

The android screen is quite small (at least on phones) so it's not been done. You'll have to stick with the computer one for this.

I understand, I didn't think about that. And I know you have no real reason
to listen to me but with phone screens getting larger and larger, I would
consider making this available at some point. I could be mistaken, but you
have the code written, all you would need to add is the sprites, right?

Well, it'd be a little more complicated than that (like implementing target selection). But i'll make sure to implement it next time I work on android. It just won't be too soon because I spent a lot of time on android dev recently and I'm going to focus on the webclient.

of curiosity, which programming language is it all written in?

I do not, as far as android is concerned, and as far as the webclient is concerned, my godly skills are needed 💃

Webclient is pure javascript, android is pure java, server/computer client is pure C++.
